SIM BADMINTON CLUB
Greetings to all players out there. Firstly it saddens me to inform you that we will
NOT be holding any leisure badminton games for the last two weeks of September. The reasons simply being the start of school and the need for preparation for the up coming sports festival.
However, do rejoice that SIM BADMINTON CLUB will be hosting a series of events for this sports festival. All current SIM students are most welcome to participate in the games. Prizes will be up for grabs. Please read on for more details on what we have to offer.
Details are as such. SIM Sports Festival Date: 27th Sept to 1 Oct 2010 Venue: SIM HQ Grand Hall Time: Late morning till evening- Men's, Women's and Mixed Doubles Categories.
- Open to current students of SIM.
- Registration on a first-come first-serve basis
- A round-robin system will be played in the qualifying rounds. The top 2 pairs from each group will advance to the next stage.
- Qualifying round - One game of 21 points.
- Quarter Finals onwards - Best of three games of 21 points
- Players who advance to the quarter finals onwards will have to help out in line-judging.
- If there is insufficient registration in any category, the category maybe scraped or combined with another category.
- A registration fee of $12 per pair. Fee is non-refundable except in the case where a category is scraped.

A registration booth will be be set up around the Koi Pond/ ATM area on the 20th, 21st and 24th of September.
