Handing Over and New Look in SIM-Badminton Management Team
Hi all players and members of SIM-Badminton family!
It had been quite awhile since I last blogged here at this very 1st blog by any sports' club in SIM started last year July. Using this beloved blog, I would like to bid everyone farewell as my time as the President of this wonderful family is up. Leaving with me will be Jack Lee(Vice-President), Yulia Kong(Treasurer) and Robert Sugarra(Boys’ Team Captain). I thanks them once again for all the time and efforts rendered to start this club and team from scratch together with my management team also consisting of Perlin & Pebbles(Secretaries), Ngee Ann & Viet(Events/Welfare Organisers).
With some of us leaving, there will be a new look in our management team and congrates to those players and members who were selected from a pool of one hundred plus members and approved by SIM-Sports. Please continue to give them your support like you’ve given my management team. Now, let me introduce you to the new management team with immediate effect from 31st May 2008:

P/S: President must be notified on all issues and her decisions will be deemed finalised as the SIM sports management will refer to the Presidents of all sports' club only. Kindly note that any new members or potential players wanting to join us should be invited to the leisure activity and let the President and Vice-President decides if they will join us on Friday after consulting the various Team Captains.

Although I had bided farewell many times in my life before, it have always been hard, and this time, it seems to be even harder. What we have now started from the badminton club I took over last June 2007 and it had not been easy on my management team and players, and also members who had offered their kind assistances along the way. Remembering all those long hours we spent in school for planning and preparations of events like Students’ Week, Orientation and SIM Open House, all those efforts we made in looking for players, coaches, training ground and in careful planning of budgeting, training and leisure activities schedules, and of cos, all the fun & laughter we generated from our trainings and outings! All these, bonded the club and team together into a big family we are today. This type of bonding and relationships is something unexpected, unique and special in its way, thus this is something I truly treasure. Also i had found a 'treasure' in the team which is hard to come by... ..
Goodbye to all as the President of the SIM-Badminton Club and Team, I will still be around for Friday Training Sessions unless I cannot make it anymore. I will never forget you guys and girls out there and will always remember all the times we had spent together training and having fun. =)
Lastly, keep the TEAM fighting spirits we have and continue to maintain this wonderful friendships and bonding we have all craved together!
