And we are into the SEMI FINALS!!!

Today's match determined a 1st placing for the guys, which leads to better chance of getting into FINALS!!
Girls are already 2nd in group and will proceed to semis....

Have we broken the HISTORY of SIM BADMINTON???
i sure like to think so.....
Both teams into SEMIS!!! YAY!!!

Guy's Team VS NUS: result 3-2
Girl's Team VS NYP: result 4-1

Showdown Between SIM n NUS guys....

Robert bounced back from a trailing 16-19 to take the win at 23-21 in the 2nd set!
Cool and calm Daniel used his brillant techniques to defeat NUS best singles player in straight sets!!
Our final singles, Andy, cruised through his game with class and ease!!! Smooth!
Our doubles went head to head with NUS's.
Erik and Darrell meeting the 1st doubles, and Kevin and Alson meeting the 2nd..
Although both doubles lost, they came close and fought hard..

For the girls... it was really quite a walk in the park..
it was a little breezy... but no where near blowing us off our feet!

Lien, Cui Yun and Pei Xuan, Our 3 singles, won much effortlessly in quick straight sets..
Both doubles deemed vulnervable today as each doubles had a player with pain in the knee!
Although Mr President was concerned and wanted a walkover for the 1st doubles, Lynne (w both knees chui already) was reluctant, and with the support of Lien, continued w the game.....
Luckily Sieu Chien used her (BIG) head to guide and covered her partner, winning the match.
Our 2nd doubles lost, but have already played their best with their 1st time partnering in competition. Perlin partnered Ruth instead of Nicole..

Guys' VS TP
(semi finals)

In past and future endeavours, TEAM SIM have been fighting all the way and will continue to do so..

The outcome of matches is important.. but the process is even more important...
Winning or Losing might matter.. but What matters most is that we cheer and fight as a TEAM!

We will always be proud of TEAM SIM BADMINTON!
