Two activities this week =))
Greeting to all members =)
We are going to play badminton this week on
13.08.2007 Monday @Bukit Gombak Sports Complex from
4pm to 7pm and also on
16.08.2007 Thursday @Clementi Sports Complex from
3pm to 7pm. Please note that we are using courts 3,4&6 from 4pm to 6pm and courts 3,5&6 from 6pm to 7pm on Monday @Gombak. Then on Thursday @Clementi , we will be using courts 1,2&3 from 3pm to 6pm and courts 3 only from 6pm to 7pm.
Members without badminton rackets can approach either Jack or me for one and shuttlecocks will also be provided. Try to make yourself free on these two days and it's ok to come later, so no worries at all.
Furthermore i will like to use this opportunity to clarify some enquires from you all. =)
The
1st thing is regarding
representing SIM in inter-uni games. Before i go further i will like to emphasize that we all
belong to the club as a whole. =))
The reason behind having two teams in the club is only for training purposes for the incoming uni games and after the games are over we will all play under the same big family as SIM badminton Club. Also
'trial' sessions to select members to represent SIM is to be confirmed by SIM due to the unknown status of our team coach but rest assured we are already hurrying the school for an answer :)
However if the
worse stituation happens where we do not get the coach, the club will hold it's own 'trial' and then we will train together, helping each other to strive for excellence for SIM in the coming uni games =)
Secondly the club
doesn't impose that all members must attend it's activities every week as we understand that different global programmes offered by SIM will have very different free slots and timetable. So no worries at all but however we do hope to see your coming at least once a week ;) Just
try la haha..
Thereby due to this issue and to be fairer to our members, we had decided upon the
scrapping of collecting the monthly fees of $10
with effect from now to collection of $10 fees only
after 4 sessions attended. For members who have
not paid the fee for August please bring along $10 this week. Thank you =))
Finally we will like to
seek your understanding that we are unable to please all members regarding requests for the activities like the day, time, venue and etc.. However we will
try our utmost best to satisfy all. =))
